Weekly Goals 4-2-19

All the excitement of the release is pretty much over now, so it's time to get back to work on revising my next project.  At the same time as looking for new and interesting ways to promote The Sidewalk's Regrets, of course.

I'm actually not too far from the end of the revision I've been working on, so that's my goal this week:  to get to the end.

Then we will see where to go from there.  I'm still not 100% sure I've fixed the issues that have plagued this particular book since I first wrote it.  But fingers crossed... There's a public holiday on Wednesday so I'll get a nice break from work in the middle of the week to put in a bit of extra time.

Apart from that, I have a couple of major pieces of work to do in my day job, so that's going to keep me very busy for the next couple of weeks.  Hopefully I'll still have some writing mojo left at the end of the day to work on my own stuff.  I find when I'm writing a lot a work all day, there sometimes isn't much left for myself in the evenings.

What are your goals this week?

  1. Congrats on your new release!

And for being close on completing revisions on the next. That's awesome! I'm just hoping to finish a first draft this week.

  4. It's been tough to be in writing mode after work and then spending time with the niece. That means with my current project getting up early on Saturdays. But recently I got a new schedule and so might be able to start integrating more time for myself and as such, more writing time.
