So what am I celebrating this week?
The kids go back to school on Monday. It's only been 2 weeks of vacation, but finding things they enjoy doing every day has been challenging. School is definitely better.
I have just about finished my revisions on Sam and Amy. I have a little more to do after getting some feedback on a few chapters from one of my critique partners, but I think the bulk of the work is done. Now it's just tiny tweaks as I go through and remove all the crutch words etc. But I'll definitely have it done in time to start NaNo. I'm excited to write something new!
I just need to decide which of the two stories rattling through my head would be the right one to go with… I think I know, but it's always hard to decide.
What are you celebrating this week?
Something new, yay! I wish I had some new ideas. That would definitely be something to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteMash them together!
ReplyDeleteIt's always fun to jump into something new! Maybe you could start both and see which one grabs you.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a good mom to entertain your vacationing kids. I don't remember my mom every doing that during my vacations. Good luck finishing Sam & Amy and deciding what idea to pursue for NaNo!
