Celebrate the Small Things 1-7-16

This post is part of Lexa Cain's bloghop, Celebrate the Small Things. Head on over there to join up!

So what am I celebrating this week?

My partner's surgery was a success!  He came home on Thursday and is exactly the same as he was before, apart from the gnarly scar behind his ear.

I finished my revisions, and apart from one final read-through of my book, I think it's ready to send back to my agent.  I hope to get the reading done over the weekend and send it off early next week.

I have absolutely no plans for the weekend, and I love that!  I have a cold and would like nothing more than an entire weekend of lazing about, reading and dosing myself with tea and hot lemon and honey.

What are you celebrating this week?

  1. Kate, glad to hear your partner is doing well. Sometimes no plans are the best plans. Enjoy!!!

  2. What great news about the surgery! I'm so glad to hear everything turned out well. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Good luck with your reading and resting and lots of tea, honey, and lemon. :)

  3. Good news about your partner's surgery. Sorry about the cold, though. At least you can spend the weekend resting and recuperating. Feel better. Hugs. Eva

  4. Good news on his surgery - these things are always a little worrying until you have them safe back home! Well done on those revisions too - you can now relax and enjoy your weekend :)

  5. Glad to hear the surgery went well. Congratulations on finishing your revisions. Best of luck with the book. It sounds like you have the perfect plans for taking care of a summer cold. Reading and tea can't be beat. :-) Hope you are feeling better soon.

  6. That's wonderful to hear! I hope he heals up nicely, and that nasty cold goes away. Have a relaxing weekend.

  7. That's great that the surgery went well. I hope he recovers quickly and is pain free. Congrats on finishing your revisions! Have a relaxing weekend and hope the cold doesn't stick around long!
