Celebrate the Small Things 7-7-17
This post is part of Lexa Cain's bloghop, Celebrate the Small Things. Head on over there to join up!
So what am I celebrating this week?
It's Friday!
I've been exhausted this week, probably because I was away last week and didn't really get a weekend to recover. So I'm looking forward to having a relaxing weekend this week and getting my energy back.
We have two kittens - Frankie and Lola - and yesterday we let Lola out of the house for the first time since we got them. Frankie could go too, but she's a nervous cat and barely ventures out from behind the books in the bookcase. I think it might be a while before we get her outside. So this weekend we need to get a cat door so they can go in and out as they wish.
I got some good writing done this week, and am looking forward to plowing on and doing more. I hope to have another completed chapter by the end of next week.
What are you celebrating this week?

I've had cats like Frankie. Once they set foot outside they usually realize they love it. Hope you have a relaxing weekend!
ReplyDeleteAww kittens :) I've just got the one cat, and she loves to go outside but she tends to stay close, which I'm quite happy about! Enjoy your relaxing weekend.
ReplyDeleteYay for getting some writing done! I miss having relaxing weekends. Not much is relaxing when you're 10 weeks away from your due date. Here's to taking the moments when they come and enjoying the cheese!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling when you get some writing done. It's like what we would do almost all the time,, but life interferes and we go with that, but then we make it back to the keys and bam! I finally finished chapter 17 of my WIP, nearly three weeks after starting it.
