Celebrate the Small Things 31-3-17
This post is part of Lexa Cain's bloghop, Celebrate the Small Things. Head on over there to join up!
So what am I celebrating this week?
A new house! On Tuesday, I offered on the house we liked, and our offer was accepted! Settlement is on my birthday in May.
So this weekend is all about getting ready to sell the house we are in now. We're about 3/4 of the way there, but the photographer is coming on Sunday to take pictures for the ads, so we have to make sure everything is looking as fabulous as possible by then.
I'm kind of dreading the next 3 weeks because my kids are not clean and tidy and we will have to keep the house clean and tidy for people coming to view.
What are you celebrating this week?

You got the house?! That's great! And the settlement on your birthday must be a good sign. Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteShowing a house is a chore. I'm sympathizing with you in your effort to keep things looking "perfect." That's so impossible.
ReplyDeleteShowing houses is horrible! But even with hellacious (yet lovable) dogs mucking things up, or a house that was way, way too cluttered even when it was sold and being moved out of...it's possible. Let's just say no matter how daunting it seems, it's doable.
ReplyDeleteYaay!! Congratulations on the house, Kate. That's awesome. Best of luck getting things squared away with the old one. Have an awesome weekend. Hugs. Eva
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS!! It's so exciting you have a new house! In order to keep your old one clean, you may have to resort to an emergency demerit system - anything left around means no dessert, or less online time, TV, etc. I hope you get an offer on the old one soon!
