I was a complete failure at getting writing done last week, so this week I have to knuckle down and get some real work done. I'm about 2 -3 chapters from the end, but what I already wrote just isn't going to work, so I have to try and figure out something that will.
And I'm kind of coming up blank on that...
But I'll keep going. There may be parts of what I already have that I can salvage. Or I can just write new stuff, once I think what to write.
Do you ever get stuck at the end? It seems to be the place I'm most often stymied. Even though I almost always write the ending near the beginning of the book so I have something to aim for.
I'm in a similar boat. I didn't get anything done last week, and I need to knuckle down this week.
ReplyDeleteAnd I've just decided that my ending is no good and needs to be rewritten.
Best of luck to you!
I'm also in a similar situation. I didn't accomplish a thing last week and so far this week isn't starting off much better. Good luck coming up with an ending that you are happy with - I'm sure it will come to you.
ReplyDeleteThe end always is a sticking point for me, too. It's the most important part of the story and it can be hard to get it just right. Hopefully this week won't be as draining as last week and you can get it done.
