Celebrate the Small things 5-2-2016

This post is part of Lexa Cain's bloghop, Celebrate the Small Things. Head on over there to join up!

So what am I celebrating this week?

Long weekend!  Yes, tomorrow is Waitangi Day, New Zealand's national day, and for the first time, the powers that be have decided that if it falls on a weekend, we get to have the holiday on Monday.  So three day weekend ahead!

I'm making some good progress with my revisions.  I'm heading into the section of the book I know is the sketchiest, so there is definitely still a fair bit of work ahead, but I feel good about it and am pretty sure I'm on track to finish by March 1 which is my deadline.

I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to work on once this revision is over.  I have another book sitting there, waiting to be revised, but it feels like such a long time since I wrote anything new, I might leave that to rest a little longer and write something fresh before I attempt another long, painful revision.

I don't have many plans for the long weekend, but I'm going to have dinner with friends tomorrow night, and hope to get at least two if not three trips to the gym in.  Plus some writing and the inevitable housework.

What are you celebrating this week?
