Celebrate the Small Things 1-5-15
This post is part of Lexa Cain's bloghop, Celebrate the Small Things (Lexa has just taken it over from VikLit who has hosted it for the last 2 years). Head on over there to join up!
So, what am I celebrating this week?
The A - Z blogging challenge is over! It's been fun, but boy has it been hard work this year. I went without a theme and just winged it each day which was far more challenging than I thought. Especially since most of my posts ended up being written at the ass-crack of dawn or last thing at night before I went to sleep. But I made it. Four years running now!
I'm also celebrating being back in my writing routine. I took a couple of weeks off (which I really enjoyed), but getting back into the writing habit hasn't been as hard as I expected. Actually writing the book I hoped to write, well… That's a whole other story!
And that's about it from me this week. It's one of the weeks where all the applications for production funding come in at work, so I have a huge pile of proposals and scripts to read. Plus half my team are going to Cannes at the end of next week, so the day job is pretty darned busy!
I guess I'm grateful to be writing at all! I probably shouldn't even be attempting it right now….
What are you celebrating this week?

Congrats on completing the challenge. Now, back to the writing routine. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to finishing A-Z! And glad to hear that the writing routine is greeting you with open arms. Don't work too hard!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to finishing A to Z! And way to go with your writing.
ReplyDeletePeople from your work are going to Cannes? Hope you can change departments to whatever theirs is. Congrats on completing the A-Z! Keep up the writing on the new story. I'm sure you can make it what you want it to be! :)
ReplyDeleteGood for you for completing. It's not easy :). You sound super busy this week. Be sure to take some time to relax, too.
ReplyDeleteTake me with you to Cannes!
ReplyDeleteHi there - we didn't get to meet on the A to Z Challenge but Katie (Cyborg Mum) has got me into the Celebrate blog hop so here I am now. You seem to be a super busy person so I am so impressed you took up and completed the Challenge FOUR times - I'm pleased with 2 so far! Have a great weekend - Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
ReplyDeleteI think you should opt for Cannes! And I'm thinking saucy drinks with tiki umbrellas! (sigh). Your week sounds so exciting, whereas I'm celebrating my yard blocks being on sale... hmm...
ReplyDeleteI didn't have a theme either, and there were several points I did not really plan well. But we both made it. Good luck getting back into a routine
ReplyDeleteGod, Entertainment, & Annoying Things
Congratulations on completing the A-Z Challenge. I had to skip it this year as I couldn't fit it in. I hope you had a good weekend and that you are getting back on track with your routine. :-)
