Celebrate the Small things 27-3-15
This post is part of Lexa Cain's bloghop, Celebrate the Small Things (Lexa has just taken it over from VikLit who has hosted it for the last 2 years). Head on over there to join up!
So, what am I celebrating this week?
This week I'm celebrating a sense of community. I had a very stressful week this week at work and the cinema community in my city really came to the party to help out. Most of the cinema a community, anyway. I now know which locations I can count on and will be doing my best to swing business in their directions.
I've been so busy with work stuff I've done virtually no writing. I had planned to try and cut 5K out of STUMPED by the 31st, but I doubt I'll get that done now. I'll see what I can do over the weekend, but I doubt I have time to do the work I need to do. I'll see how I go over the weekend…
What are you celebrating this week?

Finding new friends is always a bonus.
ReplyDeleteToo bad there was no writing. It sound like it was a good week for cinema-you, though :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad to hear the cinema community came together for you and helped. The world won't crash if you take it easy after your stressful week and work on Stumped in April. You deserve a rest. :)
ReplyDeleteAlways good to know who you can count on! Glad you figured it out, but sorry it became clear because of a stressful week. Awesome that people helped you out. Good luck writing. :)

We do what we can. I didn't reach my goal either, not even a Celebrate post. Have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteA community of good friends can be so valuable!
ReplyDeleteSounds great that you have a close community.
