Have you heard about WRiTE Club?
Have you heard about WRiTE CLUB? It's a fantastic writing contest where anonymous 500 word snippets go head to head. The public votes for their favorite piece in each round, and the winners go through to another head to head round. And this keeps happening until there is one 500 word piece left standing.
Submissions for this year's contest close on May 31st, so if you haven't already entered, head on over to DL Hammond's blog and get in there. I was a competitor last year and it was a ton of fun.
So, dig out your best 500 words and send them in. The worst that can happen is that you won't get selected. The best? Winning and all the glory that it brings!

Thank you for helping me spread the word, Kate! It's not long now before our first couple of fighters step into the ring! :)
ReplyDeleteI want to step into the ring, but I'm scared....
ReplyDeleteDon't be scared! It'll be fun. At least, it was last year. Can't see why it won't be again.
DeleteI've been seeing information about Write Club on quite a few blogs. :)
ReplyDeleteI wish I was a writer so I could join in the winning and glory Kate. Here's hoping you have a primo day!
ReplyDeleteYay! I hope we get to read all the entries?
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be awesome. One of these days I'll submit since I haven't so far.
