Lets see, I'm going to say its about some teenagers who want to be heard maybe? I am horrible at these things:)
ReplyDeleteYoung women, teen maybe rebelling against the need to have a boyfriend. Independence of the female gender...just what I'm picking up. Probably way off key!
ReplyDeleteBoth of you are partly right.....
ReplyDeleteI loved how important music was in Taillights. I'm going with: how music speaks to people and helps them heal :)
ReplyDeleteWell.... That was a big part of Taillights, but not so much in Boyfriend. The music I've listed here kind of points to the themes in the various sections of the book...
ReplyDeleteHmmmm... May have given it away a little there....
Twisted Sister-wow what a flashback for me! Anyway from that song and the ghosts in my mind one I'm thinking some sort of other worldly battle?
ReplyDeleteHi Kate! :) Is your WIP some kind of a comedy? Does it have to do with teens? Possibly an 80's theme? I love the music influence! Great job! :)

I wonder if now is the time I should post the blurb so you can all see how your ideas fit the WIP.... But maybe I'll let you all keep guessing. This is fun!
ReplyDeleteBut no, it's not a comedy, it's not set in the '80s and it's not set in another world.
I can't get the sound on to hear these (doh!) but they all look quite teenage angst, fast-paced. Intrigued!
