It's the end of the week so what am I celebrating?
It's the weekend!
It has been a stupidly busy week, one of those weeks where not only is work busy, but I've had things on every night after work as well. I've barely seen my family!
But it has been fun. I saw a local production of the musical Amelie which was really good. Wonderful to see a full house too! I went to a fundraiser dinner supporting one of my favorite organizations - Everybody Eats. It's a restaurant where you pay what you can and uses supermarket waste to make delicious, hearty three-course meals for anyone who comes along. It's such an important idea and gives people who otherwise could never eat out, the opportunity to experience a restaurant and be served.
No rejections this week, which makes a nice change. I suspect there will be a raft of them in the next few weeks as everyone tries to clear out their query boxes ahead of Christmas. But I'm prepared for that.
I have a lovely weekend ahead, catching up with friends and trying to get the house into some kind of order.
