Celebrate the Small Things 8-7-16

This post is part of Lexa Cain's bloghop, Celebrate the Small Things. Head on over there to join up!

So what am I celebrating this week?

I finished my revisions and sent my book to my agents.  It's always nerve-wracking, but I feel good about the changes I made for the most part, although I'm not certain I actually achieved what they wanted the book to become.  So we shall see if they like it.

Because the Film Festival is coming up in two weeks, I'm not going to start anything new until afterward.  I have a lot of 'finished' or close-to-finished books hanging around my hard-drive, so I plan to spend the next couple of weeks trying to figure out which, if any, might be worth salvaging.  Hopefully at least one of those abandoned projects will re-pique my interest.  I hate leaving things unfinished!

I've had a horrible cold for almost two weeks, but it finally seems to be on the way out.  Which is fantastic, because being sick sucks ass!

What are you celebrating this week?

  1. Glad you are getting better. It's good you are looking to finish old projects. I need to be doing some of that myself.

  2. Good plan. A film festival seems like something that would keep you busy. I hope that cold goes away and never comes back (winter, am I right?).

  3. Yay to getting your stuff in to the agent! Leaning back and catching up on reading sounds like a great idea with such a big thing coming on. And glad to hear you're feeling better. Colds are rough.

  4. Yay for finishing your revision and sending it to the agents! Boo for the yucky cold. I hope you feel better soon. I have several half finished books in my computer too. None are worth saving. :P
