Yes. X is for X-Men. But I haven't seen X-Men. So I can't write a review of it.
I struggled for an X movie. I thought about doing Malcolm X, but it felt like cheating. So did choosing something like The Exorcist. They have Xs in them, but they don't actually begin with X.
I know I showed a Brazilian film in a festival here two years ago that began with X, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was....
So I guess I've failed to live up to my promise of reviewing films from A - Z. But I'm still posting something for all 26 days of the challenge and the alphabet, so I guess I'm still on track.
Can anyone think of a film starting with X that's not X-Men?
Aw. But it was very impressive to get to X -- that's a huge accomplishment! I bet Y and Z will be a little hard, too. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it, but 2003's xx/xy stars Mark Ruffalo. Probably worth a look.
ReplyDeleteI watched all X-men movies and loved them, but the more recent installment was brilliant. I actually loves Magneto and understood where his believes come from.
ReplyDeleteI'll echo that. =)
DeleteI think X-Men is the only one I've ever seen beginning with X. The problem is they just don't make enough films beginning with X these days. You can't be blamed for that. I'll check back to see your Y and Z!
ReplyDeleteX-Men is an awesome movie imo - I loved it. Plus it has Hugh Jackman as Wolverine ;)
ReplyDeleteI just realized I should have done Xanadu....
ReplyDeleteXanadu would have been a good choice, wasn't there a princess named Xena somewhere in the movies too?
ReplyDeleteX-men was pretty awesome though. My hubby and I loved every one, but then, we grew up with the comics, so we would love it.
